HPCSA CPD Compliance

PsySSA would like to highlight a recent HPCSA reminder for all health practitioners. Those not yet CPD-compliant have until 30 June 2025 to rectify their status to avoid penalties. If you've recently submitted CPD information, there's no need to resubmit, as it's being processed.
Key Points:
CPD compliance requires 30 points (25 clinical, 5 ethical) within a 12-month cycle.
CPD points are valid for 12 months from the activity date.
Check your status and download your compliance letter via the HPCSA self-service portal.

The Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) has opened nominations for members to serve on its Professional Boards for the 2025–2030 term.

The Professional Board for Psychology has announced a temporary hold on the implementation of the Developmental Pathways Programme.
