CPD Compliance
The HPCSA extends its sincere appreciation to all health practitioners who have ensured that they are Continuing Professional Development (CPD) compliant. Your commitment to CPD plays an important role in strengthening the health professions and safeguarding the public.
For health practitioners who are not yet compliant, there is still an opportunity to update your status before penalties are instituted. We kindly encourage you to take the necessary steps to do so as soon as possible in order to remain in good standing.
The CPD tools and processes have been updated in line with the recently amended CPD rules, including the change from a 24-month to a 12-month cycle. Each CPD point is now valid for 12 months from the date on which the activity took place.
For ease of access and efficiency, health practitioners are encouraged to make use of the online platform for all CPD-related matters.
