Dear Stakeholder

The HPCSA would like to take this opportunity to thank all health practitioners who are CPD compliant. Those practitioners who are not yet compliant still have an opportunity to rectify their compliance status before penalties are instituted on 30 June 2025.

Again, health practitioners who have recently submitted CPD information or whose information was recently submitted by their service provider should be assured that such information is receiving urgent attention. There is therefore no need to resubmit or submit repeated enquiries on same matter.

Remember the following:

• The actual number of CPD points required to be compliant shall be aligned to 12 months cycle of CPD programme. For example, 30 CPD points means 25 clinical and 5 ethical to be complaint.
• Each CPD point is valid for 12 months from the date on which the activity took place.

Practitioners can check their CPD status and download the compliance letter through the HPCSA self-service portal. Click here for instructions on how to manage the process online.
