This Committee shall plan policies and procedures for the Annual Congress, arrange for programmes of general and specific interest, and coordinate Divisional programmes at Congress. This Committee shall always strive to improve the quality of each Congress.
This Committee shall, after approval of the Executive Committee, appoint a Scientific Committee within three months after the preceding Congress to suggest themes and featured speakers, and to review abstracts.
Although Council shall set dates for Annual Congresses no later than the preceding AGM, subject to any change that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that the Executive may direct, this Committee shall arrange dates and venues for Congresses at least two years in advance.
In order to afford members the full opportunity to attend the Annual Congress and avoid any scheduling conflict for members, structures shall not hold any event two months before and one month after the Annual Congress, save for regular business meetings as required in terms of the Constitution and Rules. The Executive may make an exception where compelling circumstances arise.
