Your Pathway to Lasting Therapeutic Change

Following the successful BWRT® presentation by Rafiq Lockhat to PsySSA members, we are pleased to share additional information for those interested in taking the next step toward becoming a BWRT® practitioner.

About the Training

BWRT® (BrainWorking® Recursive Therapy) is a rapid, protocol-based psychological modality informed by neuroscience, designed to bring lasting relief for clients without the need to disclose distressing personal details. The Level 1 training is your entry into a powerful and growing international practitioner network.

Training Details

  • ZOOM Online (Live): 4–6 July 2025
  • Face-to-Face: Durban: 9–11 May 2025 (SOLD OUT)
  • Face-to-Face: Pietermaritzburg: 22–24 August 2025 (Venue TBC)

Requirements Open to: Registered Counsellors, Clinical Social Workers (Master’s Degree), Psychologists, and Psychiatrists.

CPD Points: 22 (20 General + 2 Ethics)

In line with the requirements of the Continuing Professional Development Guidelines for the Health Professions, PsySSA offers members access to an online PsySSA CPD platform. Members can obtain CPD points through the SAJP and AJOPA questionnaires available on this platform. PsySSA CPD aims to assist Professionals manage points and ensure HPCSA compliance. At no additional cost, members are able to read through articles, answer associated questions, attain CPD Points and store Continuous Education Units (CEU) in the CPD vaults. The opportunity to obtain CPD points is also made available at PsySSA’s annual Congress and through our CPD Workshop Series 2024.
