This celebratory event marks three decades of dedication to developing psychology as a science and profession of international repute, and to the promotion of psychological practice attuned to societal needs and well-being.

The 33rd International Congress of Psychology 2024 (ICP), will take place in Prague, The Czech Republic, July 21 – 26, 2024. The ICP Congress is the most significant event in the world of psychology. It takes place only once in four years, attracting over 6.000 participants. It is a flagship event of the International Union of Psychological Science under whose auspices it is organized. Its history dates back to 1889, the upcoming congress in Prague will be organized by the Czech–Moravian Psychological Society under a motto “Psychology for the Future: Together in Hope.”

The ICP2024 Organising Committee has invited colleagues to present, exhibit or join the Emerging Psychologist Programme.

The 40th PINS (Psychology in Society) Symposium 

The 40th PINS (Psychology in Society) Symposium 

To mark the 40th anniversary of the journal, currently under the editorship of Ronelle Carolissen of Stellenbosch University, we are hosting a 1-and-half day Symposium to mark four decades of PINS as a home for critical and creative thought. The 40th PINS Symposium will be an occasion for celebration, reflection and revitalisation. Previous and current editors will present on the history, challenges faced by small and independent journals, as well as future plans and projects of the journal. Emerging and prominent scholars will also present reflections on PINS, academic journals, knowledge production, the relation between psychology and society, and related topics.

Limited in-person places are available so please register before 30 August by clicking the link below, especially if you would like to attend in person. The programme will follow soon.
