Following the successful implementation of Wave 2 of the Online Portal enhancements, I am pleased to share key updates on our digital transformation journey.
I am excited to announce that Wave 3A – focused on Registrations and Certifications, has been successfully tested and deployed in a live environment.
This marks the first major milestone of the broader Wave 3 rollout, which is designed to improve service delivery across all areas of Council’s operations.
Wave 3 Rollout: A Three-Part Upgrade Wave 3 has been strategically divided into three components, each targeting a specific core function of the HPCSA:
The newly launched Wave 3A component enables practitioners to access a wide range of services on the online portal with greater efficiency, transparency, and user-friendliness. Services Now Available via the Portal: 1. General Registrations
2. Credentialing and Restorations
3. Foreign-Qualified Practitioners
Foreign-qualified applicants can now submit their applications online. HPCSA officials will assess submissions for completeness and guide applicants on outstanding requirements. Only after full submission will original documents be requested, and finalisation will follow once verified by the Central Registry. As we shift focus to Wave 3B implementation, we are committed to sustaining momentum in modernising our services. |
To support user onboarding, seven tutorial videos are available on the HPCSA website and YouTube channel, including:
