Obtained B.A(Applied Psychology) and Honors (Psychology) at Unisa, qualified to be a Registered Counsellor in Nov 2011. Passionate about working with kids and youth. Working with less fortunate and mostly previously disadvantaged; has developed me more as a person and encouraged me to practice my profession. Worked in NGO’ for almost 12 years. I have an experience in support group facilitating, trauma counselling and educational assessments.
Worked extensively in research clinic where I was involved in numerous studies focusing on psychometric testing (kids & youth); screening of mental health disorders for both youth and adults; offering psychoeducation and counselling.
Have recently started an independent practice, with interest in trauma and bereavement counselling; and focusing also on educational assessments and career guidance.
