20 Days to Go! The Countdown to Congress Has Begun

We’re just 20 days away from the 29th Annual South African Psychology Congress, taking place from 14–16 October 2025 at the Durban ICC.

This year’s theme, “Psychology in Society and Society in Psychology,” sets the stage for three days of cutting-edge research, dialogue, and collaboration.

The final run to Durban has begun — we look forward to welcoming you to a rich and inspiring Congress experience in just 20 days!

Here’s what you need to know as you get ready for Durban:

PsySSA Congress App Information

The official mobile app for the PsySSA Annual Psychology Congress 2025 is now available for download. This is your gateway to the full Congress experience. Start engaging with the app now to personalise your schedule, connect with fellow delegates, and make the most of your Congress experience.

Please note: No printed Congress programmes will be provided at the venue. The mobile app will serve as your primary programme and navigation tool. Should you prefer a hard copy, you may download the programme here and print it at your workplace or home.

For Presenters and Delegates

Log in ahead of the Congress to check that your session details are accurate and to familiarise yourself with key features.

How to get started

  • Visit your App Store or Google Play.

  • Download, install, and log in with your Congress credentials.

  • Alternatively, scan the QR code included in your Congress communications.

The final programme is also available online and on the app. No printed programmes will be provided this year, in line with PsySSA’s commitment to sustainability. Delegates who prefer a hard copy are welcome to download and print the programme.

Access the full Abstract Book digitally via the app or website for convenient and sustainable engagement with the research being presented.

Stay CPD Compliant

Earn up to 21 General and 4 Ethics CPD points by attending the accredited sessions. Remember, CPD is allocated at 1 point per hour of full participation.

Join us on Tuesday, 14 October 2025 (18:15–20:00, Hall 2) for an evening of celebration, reflection, and connection.
