Optional Post-Conference Excursion: Robben Island Tour and Networking Session

We are delighted to have you join us for the International Network for Hate Studies (INHS) Conference, taking place from 25 to 27 November 2024.

In addition to the engaging sessions planned during the conference, we are offering an optional post-conference excursion to Robben Island on Thursday, 28 November 2024, at 09:00. This excursion will provide a unique opportunity to explore one of South Africa’s most historically significant landmarks, known for its role in the country’s journey to democracy.

Following the tour, there will be a networking lunch at Quay Four in the V&A Waterfront at 12:30 (or shortly after the Robben Island tour), where you will have the opportunity to connect with fellow delegates in a more informal setting.

Please note that participation in the excursion is optional and will be at your own cost.

To assist us in finalising the arrangements, we kindly request that you confirm your interest in attending both the excursion and the networking lunch by completing a brief poll.

Spaces for the Robben Island tour are limited, so it is important that you confirm your participation by completing the poll no later than Friday, 18 October 2024, by midday to secure your place. Failure to complete the poll by this deadline will result in you not being able to join the tour. Once your response is received, a registration link will be sent to you.

We look forward to your participation at the INHS Conference and would be delighted to have you join us for this memorable excursion.
