Call for Participants – Master’s Research Study:

An Exploration of how South African Psychologists Experience and Make Meaning of Working with Forensic Cases of Sexual Assault

 

Are you a registered psychologist in South Africa with experience working with forensic cases of sexual assault?

You are invited to participate in an ethically approved Master’s Clinical Psychology research study conducted through the University of the Witwatersrand. The study aims to explore how South African psychologists experience and make meaning of working with forensic cases of sexual assault, with the goal of contributing to a deeper understanding of the emotional, cognitive, and professional demands associated with this work.

Who can participate?

  • Registered psychologists in South Africa.
  • Psychologists with experience working with forensic cases of sexual assault

Participation involves a confidential semi-structured interview lasting approximately 60–90 minutes, conducted either online or in person  at a time that is convenient for you.
