About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Adult Psychologist to join a growing group of premium private outpatient clinics in Qatar. With a team of over 50 medical professionals, these clinics are recognised for their high-quality facilities, exceptional clinical standards, and strong ethical, patient-centred approach.

Led by a British management team, the clinics offer a supportive, Western-style working environment. You will collaborate with an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist from the UK, alongside a team of 10 Clinical and Counselling Psychologists.

Role Overview

• 50-minute therapy sessions with 10 minutes allocated for clinical notes
• Diverse, international patient base
• Manage a busy and varied caseload, including:
  • Adjustment to new cultures, workplaces, and environments
  • Anxiety, stress, and depression
  • Trauma, bereavement, and crisis intervention
  • Relationship and couples therapy
  • Eating disorders and self-harm
• Work within a private practice setting with minimal administrative burden
• Flexibility to utilise a range of therapeutic approaches, including:
  • CBT, Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, EMDR
  • Clinical and Counselling Psychology frameworks

Candidate Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in Psychology from a recognised institution
• Accreditation with a relevant professional regulatory body
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an independent practitioner
• Demonstrated experience managing a broad range of clinical presentations
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations
• Empathetic, client-focused, and collaborative approach
• Willingness to relocate to Qatar
• Fluent in English (additional languages are advantageous)
