Lynne Richards is an intern clinical psychologist completing her Master of Social Science (Clinical Psychology) through the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her master’s research has focused on the lack of attention given to issues of child neglect. Lynne’s broad areas of interest include neuropsychology and the effects of developmental trauma as well as critical feminism, decoloniality and social justice in relation to the provision of mental health care. She has held positions in mental health NGOs and continues to work in student mentorship and development privately and within her role as a lecturer.
