Kamilla V. Rawatlal, (PhD), is a registered Counselling Psychologist, Lecturer and Programme Manager of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at the University of Pretoria. She also serves as a Board Member on the South African Career Development Association (SACDA). Her research interests are around Counselling Psychology, professional development and training, careers and mental health and primary mental health care. She also serves as Guest Editor for the African Journal of Career Development, (AJCD) Special Collection based on “Advancing career intervention in developing countries: A call for agency in the 21st century”. Her most recent book publication is based on trainees practising in resource constrained contexts, titled Rawatlal, K.V. (2023).
