Dr. Anthony Townsend is a PhD Clinical Psychologist who runs a private practice in Sandton, Johannesburg while also serving as a director of Syntonic, an interventional psychiatry clinic in Saxonwold, Johannesburg. His therapeutic style is integrative and he also provides neuropsychological and psycholegal assessments. He is a lecturer and post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Pretoria with a focus on psychedelic-assisted therapy in South Africa. Anthony is also a member of the aeromedical appeal board for the South African Aviation Authority (SACAA) and is a clinical fellow of the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society. He is currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Society of Integrative Practitioners South Africa (SIPSA) and is a reviewer on the editorial board of the International Journal of Psychological and Brain Sciences.
