A special issue of the British Psychological Society’s professional journal CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY FORUM (323: November 2019) was compiled and edited by Nick Wood and Nimisha Patel (University of East London). This special issue focused on Racism within British Clinical Psychology (CP), as well as the difficulties of Increasing Access for Black Trainees, to better represent the diverse UK wider population demographics within the CP profession. As such, this special issue focuses on highlighting black voices trying to access the CP profession, as well as those currently being trained within CP. The main thematic threads of this special issue are black access and representation, and addressing ongoing racism and whiteness within British CP
