LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Letter to the Editor From the Free State I wish to thank Dr Ann Watts and Dr Saths Cooper once again for coming to the Free State and informing our students about the exciting new changes in South African Psychology. Not to mention the breakfast and opportunity to meet with you. I also want to make a suggestion. Would it be possible for PsySSA to create a means by which members can sign a debit order for an ongoing period? The reason is that I (and I believe there are several members like me) sometimes forget to pay our dues or are not sure whether we have done it. I would therefore prefer to sign a debit order so that my dues can be deducted annually. I believe it will not only help people like me, but will also ensure that PsySSA has a guarantee in this regard. You can even think of something like "Sign up for X years, with no annual increase in dues". I am very impressed with the friendly and professional way Purity Zulu of the PsySSA office is handling inquiries. This is a significant contribution to our image. Could you please convey this to her? And yes, the Indemnity Insurance that you are working on for the mentioned unbelievable fee (I'm paying about R900 per year at the moment) is absolutely wonderful. This is the way PsySSA should go.
